Salesforce Developer & Administrator

Teachiq (Danderyd, Stockholm)

About Teachiq

Teachiq is a growing SaaS company with a clear mission: to help teachers excel so that students can learn and grow. Founded in 2015, we’ve grown steadily without external funding, giving us the freedom to build for the long term rather than chase short-term wins. Today, we are more than 40 people, with backgrounds spanning teaching, product development, and companies like Spotify, eBay, and Google.

Our products are used by teachers in over 100 countries. As we scale internationally, we invest carefully in systems and platforms that genuinely support our business and our users. Salesforce is central to how we run sales, marketing, and customer support — and this role plays a key part in making sure it truly works for how we operate. We have offices in Danderyd (Stockholm) and Gothenburg

This role is based in Danderyd, and we expect you to be in the office most of the time to collaborate closely with the team.

Our culture is shaped by four values: We are genuine, We play fair, We build for tomorrow, and We dare to grow. These values guide how we make decisions, how we work together, and how we think about long-term impact.

The role

We are looking for a Salesforce Developer & Administrator to take technical ownership of our Salesforce platform.

This is a Salesforce-first role. You will work directly in Salesforce with configuration, automation, and development, ensuring that our CRM genuinely supports how our sales, marketing, and support teams work — today and as we grow.

Salesforce has been in place for about two years and is still evolving. A key part of this role is helping us move from “working Salesforce” to well-designed, scalable Salesforce through thoughtful automation, clean data models, and clear prioritization.

In addition, you will also help maintain the Databricks notebooks and SQL logic that feed into our analytics environment in Tableau. This part of the role is about continuity and stability — not rebuilding or expanding a data platform.

You will collaborate closely with our Salesforce Product Owner, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product Engineering. While you will be the only internal hands-on Salesforce developer, you will have access to external support when needed.

Key responsibilities

Salesforce development & administration (primary focus ~80%)

  • Take hands-on ownership of our Salesforce platform across Sales, Marketing, and Support
  • Develop and maintain Salesforce using Apex, SOQL, Flows, validation rules, and platform tools
  • Design and evolve Salesforce data models to support automation, reporting, and scalable processes
  • Build and improve automations that reflect how our sales team actually works
  • Act as a technical partner to the Salesforce Product Owner — translating business needs into robust solutions
  • Prioritize requests from multiple stakeholders and explain trade-offs clearly to non-technical colleagues
  • Ensure data quality, clarity, and long-term maintainability
  • Troubleshoot and debug Salesforce issues, including automation logic and custom code
  • Collaborate with engineers and external partners on integrations and APIs when needed

Analytics & data platform maintenance (secondary focus ~20%)

  • Maintain existing Databricks notebooks and SQL/PySpark logic
  • Monitor data pipelines and data quality
  • Make smaller updates and fixes as needed, escalating larger changes when appropriate
  • Prepare and support datasets used in Tableau dashboards
  • Ensure consistency of key metrics between Salesforce and analytics tools

You are not expected to rebuild or significantly expand our analytics stack — the focus is on keeping it healthy and reliable.

Who you are

You are a hands-on Salesforce professional who enjoys building, improving, and owning a platform. You like working close to the business, explaining technical complexity in plain language, and making pragmatic decisions about where to invest time and effort. You’re service-minded and responsive, but also comfortable pushing back and suggesting better long-term solutions when needed.

Required

  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience working with Salesforce (Administration + Development)
  • Strong practical experience with Salesforce Flows & Workflows
  • Strong practical experience with Apex & SOQL
  • Strong practical experience with Salesforce data modeling and administration
  • Ability to work independently in Salesforce without extensive internal training
  • Strong debugging skills and ability to understand and extend existing code
  • Experience prioritizing work across multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to explain technical constraints and complexity to non-technical colleagues
  • Familiarity with Python and SQL (enough to understand and learn existing code)
  • Comfort working in an environment without a rigid, closed development lifecycle
  • A pragmatic, on-demand, service-oriented mindset

Nice to have

  • Experience with Databricks, PySpark, or similar platforms
  • Experience with Tableau or BI tools
  • Salesforce certifications (Admin, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I)
  • Experience with API integrations
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Data Cloud or Agentforce
  • Experience collaborating with external consultants or partners
  • Interest in Salesforce architecture and long-term platform design

Why this role matters at Teachiq

Salesforce is critical to how we run our commercial operations and support our customers. This role ensures that:

  • Our Salesforce setup genuinely supports how teams work
  • Automation is thoughtful, scalable, and maintainable
  • Data is reliable and trusted
  • We reduce manual work and long-term complexity
  • Knowledge and systems are built to last, not just patched

You’ll play a key role in strengthening the backbone of our commercial and customer-facing systems — with real impact across the company.
